(This is done with the track input source setting) Then each keyboard will only play the required virtual instrument. Engage both tracks into record/monitoring but instead of ALL INPUTS set each one for the desired keyboard controller. But each midi track can also select just a particular keyboard. So if you engage two tracks to record/input monitor set for two different virtual instruments then yes both keyboards will mix and play both of them at once. ![]() When you engage a midi instrument track into record (or input monitoring) it defaults to ALL INPUTS. Any number tracks can be either input monitored or engaged into record at once.) (Note: Selecting tracks has nothing to do with this. I assume you have them both installed correctly in the external devices area and they are both working. ![]() (And if its this way, are they connected to separate MIDI IN ports on your midi interface) Via USB or 5 pin MIDI connectors and a midi interface. ![]() Firstly we need to know how they are connected.
